NZX Operations (“NZXO”) advises that, further to the announcement released by Mercury NZ
Limited (“MCY”) on Monday, 17 June, should the offer be made and subject to successful
completion of the bookbuild for the proposed Capital Bonds, MCY will exercise its right to fully
redeem their unsecured, subordinated capital bonds which are quoted on the NZX Debt Market
under ticker code MCY020.
Subject to the above, MCY will redeem all MCY020 Bonds on 11 July 2024. The final day of
trading in the MCY020 Bonds will be Wednesday, 26 June 2024, with the bonds being
suspended at close of business.
