FIRST INTERIM DIVIDEND FOR 2024

Information disclosed in accordance with DTR 6.1.13

The Directors of the Company have resolved that the first interim dividend for the year ending
31 December 2024 will be a payment of 3.60 pence per ordinary share (2023: 3.40 pence per
share). The dividend will be paid on 1 August 2024 to shareholders registered at the close of
business on 28 June 2024. Please note this payment will include a Dividend Re-investment
Plan facility, for which the election date will be 9 July 2024.

For the year ended 31 December 2023, the Company again paid a fully covered dividend. The
Board hopes that the dividend for the current financial year will also be covered, but the
Company has substantial revenue reserves and can therefore support dividend payments
when they are not covered by current year income. With this significant investment trust
advantage over many open-ended funds, the Company remains well positioned in continuing
to deliver dividend rises to shareholders over the longer term.
