Senior manager update

Heartland Group Holdings Limited (Heartland) (NZX/ASX: HGH) advises that Chris Flood will conclude
in his role as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Heartland Bank Australia Limited (Heartland Bank
Australia) on 21 July 2024.

On 22 July 2024, Chris will recommence employment with Heartland as Group Deputy Chief
Executive Officer (subject to Reserve Bank of New Zealand non-objection), and Michelle Winzer will
commence employment as Chief Executive Officer of Heartland Bank Australia. For the purposes of
the NZX Listing Rules, Chris will become a senior manager of Heartland.
