General Capital Limited Announces Share Consolidation
General Capital (NZX:GEN) announces a share consolidation of 1 share per 4 shares currently
on issue.
The Board of General Capital advises that it has resolved to implement a share consolidation to
rationalise the number of ordinary shares on issue.
Every 4 General Capital shares held at 5:00 p.m. on 2 August 2024 will be consolidated into 1
share, with all fractional entitlements rounded to the nearest whole number of shares and a
fractional entitlement to half a share being rounded up.
As a result of the consolidation, the number of shares on issue in General Capital will be reduced
from 363,574,975 to approximately 90,893,743 shares. The intended timetable for the share
consolidation is as follows:

Wednesday, 31 July 2024 Last day for trading in pre-consolidation
shares on the NZX Main Board with a trading
halt from close of market on this date for
two trading days (1

and 2
nd
of August
2024).
Thursday, 1 August 2024 Ex-date for the consolidation.
Friday 2 August 2024 Record date for the consolidation
Monday, 5 August 2024 Commencement of trading at market open
in post-consolidation shares on a normal
settlement basis on NZX
Monday, 12 August 2024 Dispatch of holding statements from
General Capital’s share registrar notifying
shareholders of their new shareholding.
