General Capital (GEN:NZ) Appointment of New Director to Subsidiary General

Finance

General Capital, the listed financial services group, today announces the appointment

of Geoffrey Sinclair as an independent director to its wholly owned subsidiary, General

Finance Limited.

Geoff holds a BCom and has a proven track record of establishing and growing

businesses, particularly within the finance sector. Geoff specialises in start-ups and

building on existing business operations, broad experience including general

management, marketing, strategic planning, product development, lending,

compliance, and credit control.

General Capital Chair, Mr. Rewi Bugo says the Board is pleased to welcome Geoff as

a director of General Finance. “Geoff brings a wealth of experience to General

Finance, including a strong operational and finance sector background. His skillset is

a valuable addition to the General Finance Board and business” he says.

General Finance’s Board has determined that Mr Sinclair is an independent director.

His appointment was effective 1 August 2024.
