Booster Innovation Fund adds Mars Bioimaging to its investment portfolio

Booster is pleased to announce the addition of Mars Bioimaging (MBI) to the Booster Innovation Fund
(BIF) portfolio.

MBI operates in the medical diagnostics part of the life sciences and medical technologies sector. It
specialises in spectral molecular imaging combining multiple imaging modalities to advance point-of-care
diagnosis. MBI was formed in 2007, and is classified as expansion stage, with its technology origins being
from University of Canterbury and CERN.

BIF will make an initial cash investment of $75,000 of its $400,000 to be committed across multiple
tranches. Following this initial transaction (and issue of additional units to fund the purchase), MBI will
initially represent 0.4% of BIF’s investment portfolio of 33 active companies, and with a net asset value of
over $19.7M.

Investors can continue to purchase units in BIF on the NZX or can subscribe for units in the fund as part of
the process described in the fund’s Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) that is available at
www.booster.co.nz.
