Dividend reinvestment plan strike price

Meridian Energy Limited advises that the price at which shares will be issued for the 2024 Final
Ordinary Dividend under the Company’s Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) is NZ$5.9452 per share.
The issue price has been determined, in accordance with the DRP, as the volume weighted average
sale price for a share, calculated on all sales of shares which took place through the NZX Main Board
over a period of five business days starting on 4 September 2024, less a 2% discount.
Shareholders who have elected to participate in the DRP, will receive shares, instead of cash, in
respect of the 2024 Final Ordinary Dividend on 20 September 2024.
