APPOINTMENT OF JANIE ELRICK AS INDEPENDENT
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
CDL Investments New Zealand Limited (“CDI”) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Janie
Elrick to its Board effective from 1 November 2024.
CDI Chair Desleigh Jameson said that the company had made the appointment after a detailed and
thorough search and interview process. The Board had also determined that Ms. Elrick was an
Independent Director for the purposes of NZX Listing Rule 2.6.2.
“I am delighted that we have been able to secure someone with extensive finance and governance
capabilities who will add a great deal of value to CDI”, she said. “Her background across many diverse
industries in New Zealand and her passion for creating commercial success are attributes which we
have been looking for especially as CDI continues to grow as a business”.
Ms. Elrick said that she was looking forward to joining CDI.
“CDI has developed an excellent reputation over many decades for its successful residential property
developments across the country and I am really looking forward to being part of the company and
helping it flourish further”, she said.
Janie has been the Chief Financial Officer of Downer NZ, Steel & Tube, Livestock Improvement
Corporation, Synlait and Zespri. She is currently a director of Crown Irrigation Investments Limited and
also of Inframax Construction Ltd and Community Living Trust where her financial expertise,
professionalism and strong ethics are respected by their respective Chairs. She is a Chartered
Accountant and a member of the NZ and Australia Institute of Chartered Accountants.
