Fisher & Paykel Healthcare launches F&P Nova™ Nasal mask in New Zealand and Australia

Auckland, New Zealand, 12 March 2025 – Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited today
announced the New Zealand and Australia launch of the F&P Nova Nasal mask for the treatment
of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Expanding Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's comprehensive portfolio of masks, F&P Nova Nasal
comes with innovative technology designed to enhance patient comfort and improve treatment
outcomes. It follows last year’s release of the F&P Nova Micro nasal pillows mask. F&P Nova
Nasal will initially be available in New Zealand and Australia and will be launched in other countries
upon receiving clearances.

When designing F&P Nova Nasal, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s engineers set out to develop a
mask that defines high performance in the delivery of CPAP therapy. F&P Nova Nasal has
achieved positive clinical trial results across the full experience of mask use, including easy fitting,
a stable seal and a comfortable and quiet night’s sleep.

Key features of F&P Nova Nasal are:
• Easy-to-use SwingFit™ headgear, allowing users to simply anchor the cushion on their
nose and swing the headgear around their head to secure it with one click.
• RollFit™ cushion with pivoting clips, which conforms to the patient's nose, and has a
unique fastening design that adapts to movement, helping to hold the seal regardless of the
patient’s preferred sleeping position.
• Washable diffuser which minimises noise and draft, ensuring a quiet, restful sleep for both
the user and those around them.

In addition, F&P Nova Nasal includes structured side arms which help deliver a stable seal while
providing a clear field of view while wearing the mask. The structure of the mask is covered in
F&P’s AirEdge fabric, which enhances comfort and avoids marks on the face. The mask’s optional
tube clip allows users to place the tube up and over the head, if preferred.
