Retirement of Director
Vista Group International Limited (NZX & ASX:VGL) advises that after 11 years as a director, Kirk
Senior, has notified the Board that he will not stand for re-election at the Annual Shareholders
Meeting to be held on 21 May 2025, but will instead retire effective from the conclusion of that
meeting.
Vista Group’s Chair, Susan Peterson, said: “On behalf of the Board I want to thank Kirk for his
outstanding contribution to the success of Vista Group.
“As Executive Chair, Kirk was instrumental in Vista Group’s IPO in 2014 and led the growth of Vista
Group’s market share and expansion into industry verticals. The Board and I have been very grateful
that when Kirk retired as an executive he agreed to continue as a director. When I was appointed as
Independent Chair at the end of 2020, Kirk’s continued involvement ensured that Vista Group could
still benefit from his unparalleled experience, insights and relationships in the cinema industry.”
Kirk Senior, said: “My connection to Vista Group extends back over 30 years, initially as an
independent director and client when I was CEO of Village Cinemas, and then as Executive Chair from
2010. I am so proud of what we have achieved and thank the founding shareholders, particularly
Murray and Brian, for putting their faith in me 15 years ago. Vista Group is now in a very strong
position, and I am looking forward to watching its continued success from the sidelines.”
The Board is well progressed on the succession process and will provide further information regarding
the outcome of that process in due course.
