Extension of Defence Base Services Contract

Ventia (ASX:VNT) has signed an extension of the Defence Base Services contract with the

Department of Defence for 7-months commencing on 1 July 2025 and ending 31 January 2026. The

contracted revenue is approximately $270 million. The extension sees Ventia continue to provide a

range of estate management, living services and base support capability (Firefighting Services

contract was awarded to Ventia in July 2024).

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Dean Banks says, “Ventia is a sovereign, trusted and

experienced Defence industry partner. We have proudly been supporting Defence for 35 years. Our

teams continue to uphold our proud commitment delivering service excellence to over 90,000 service

personnel on 70 bases across Australia.”

The Base Services Transformation tender process continues and Ventia awaits the outcome, which is

expected this calendar year.
