DGL - US Tariff Announcement
DELEGAT GROUP LIMITED – US TARIFF ANNOUNCEMENT.
3
April 2025
Following announcements by President Trump this morning, Delegat Group Limited
acknowledges that New Zealand wine exports to the United States of America will be subject to a
tariff of 10 per cent of FOB price, along with all other New Zealand exports. It also appears that
major wine producing countries in the European Union will be subject to higher tariffs than New
Zealand.
Export revenue to the USA from Delegat Group account for 52% per cent of revenues. The
company's major brand shipped to the USA is Oyster Bay and that brand has a strong position
within the Super Premium category.
Delegat Group Limited is working closely with New Zealand Wine Growers and our US distributors
to fully understand the new tariff arrangements and will further update shareholders in due
course.
