Spark notes media regarding data centre sale


Spark New Zealand (Spark) notes media today stating it has launched a process to seek buyers for a
stake in its data centre business.

As was communicated at its H1 trading update in February, Spark has commenced a process to explore
interest from prospective partners to support future data centre investment.

No transaction has been agreed, and a transaction (including any potential transaction value) is not yet
certain.

Spark will keep the market updated in accordance with its continuous disclosure obligations.
