Change of Manager’s External Auditor
With effect from today Northwest Healthcare Properties Management Limited (Manager), the
manager of Vital Healthcare Property Trust (Vital), has accepted the resignation of KPMG as
the auditor of the Manager and has appointed Deloitte in its place.
The appointment of Deloitte is not a reflection of the quality of service provided by KPMG, and
the Board would like to thank KPMG for its professionalism and service.
The change in auditor was made following a review by the Manager’s ultimate parent,
Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT (TSX: NWH.UN) which appointed Deloitte as its external
auditor as announced to the Toronto Stock Exchange on 20 December 2024. There is no
change to Vital’s external auditor arrangements.
