The Board of F&C Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce that Josh Bottomley will join the
Board as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 September 2025. Mr
Bottomley replaces Edward Knapp who will step down from the Board on 31 July 2025.

Mr Bottomley is Chief Executive Officer of Dunnhumby, a global AI and analytics business. He
was previously an Operating Partner at CVC Capital Partners and has held senior positions at
HSBC Holdings plc (Global Head of Digital, Data and Development), Google Inc. (Global Head,
Display) and LexisNexis (Managing Director).

Mr Bottomley does not own any ordinary shares in the Company.

No further information is required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 6.4.8 in respect of this
appointment.
