Westpac Banking Corporation (Westpac) notifies holders of Westpac Capital Notes 5

(WCN 5) that on 22 September 2025 all WCN 5 on issue will be redeemed by Westpac in

accordance with the terms of WCN 5 (the Terms).

All WCN 5 holders on the register on 12 September 2025 will be paid $100 for each WCN

5 on 22 September 2025, in accordance with the instructions for Distributions on the

register.

A final Distribution of $1.211 per WCN 5 fully franked, for the period from 23 June 2025 to

22 September 2025 (inclusive) is also scheduled to be paid on 22 September 2025.

Distributions are subject to the satisfaction of the distribution payment conditions in the

Terms.

The last day of trading in WCN 5 on the ASX is expected to be 10 September 2025 and

off-market transfers of WCN 5 will not be accepted after 12 September 2025.

The redemption of WCN 5 does not imply or indicate that Westpac will in the future

exercise any right it may have to redeem any other outstanding regulatory capital

instruments issued by Westpac. Any such future redemption would also be subject to

APRA’s prior written approval (which may or may not be given).
