New Zealand grown products support Rua’s global strategy.

Tairawhiti, New Zealand – Rua Bioscience announced today the expansion of its medicinal
cannabis product portfolio in the German market, with the launch of two new Rua-branded
products cultivated entirely in New Zealand and developed from proprietary, New Zealand-
sourced genetics. This marks a significant milestone in the execution of Rua’s strategy to expand
into high-value international markets and to build a sustainable global portfolio.
With the addition of these two new products, Rua now has four products in Germany, the world’s
largest regulated medicinal cannabis market. Demand in Germany is accelerating rapidly, with
record growth in product imports in recent months. According to the latest official data from
Germany’s Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM), medicinal cannabis imports
reached close to 45,000kg in the recent Mar-Jun quarter of 2025, up 375% year-on-year.
Premium, differentiated products, such as Rua’s are in particularly strong demand, and the
expanded portfolio firmly positions Rua as a competitive supplier in this fast-growing market.

The new products are being launched in collaboration with Nimbus Health, a subsidiary of Dr.
Reddy’s Laboratories and a longstanding commercial partner of Rua. Nimbus continues to
deliver strong operational performance providing regulatory expertise, established market
relationships, and efficient distribution to prescribing physicians and pharmacies across
Germany.
With additional product launches already in development for the German market, Rua is on
track to significantly grow its international sales over the next 12 months.
