BIF –Chief Investment Officer Appointment

Booster Investment Management Limited (BIML), as manager of the Booster Innovation Fund (the Fund)
confirms the appointment of a new Senior Manager.

Booster Financial Services Limited (BFS), the parent company of, and service provider to, Booster
Investment Management Limited (BIML), has appointed Simon O’Grady as Chief Investment Officer and
he will take up the role from mid September.

O’Grady was in the equivalent role at Kiwi Wealth/Kiwi Invest for nearly a decade before going out as an
independent investment and governance consultant in 2021.

Booster Chief Executive Officer, Di Papadopoulos, says the company is excited to welcome O’Grady.
“Simon’s a recognised and respected leader in New Zealand’s investment sector with deep experience
and leadership in retail wealth management, KiwiSaver schemes, private equity and unlisted assets.”

competition among KiwiSaver providers and a lot going on in the private investment space. We’re

O’Grady steps into the Chief Investment Officer role vacated by Nic Craven’s earlier move in April to
Booster’s investment committee and he will take over the full-time executive function of leading
Booster’s investment activities that for an interim period was jointly undertaken by Aaron Usher
(Portfolio Strategy Manager) and Nic Williams (Head of Direct Investments).

BFS and BIML are pleased to welcome Simon to its senior management team.
