NZME appoints Jo Hempstead as Chief Financial Officer
AUCKLAND, 20 October 2025: NZME Limited (NZX and ASX: NZM) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Jo Hempstead as Chief Financial Officer.
Jo brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience across retail, technology, and media
sectors. She joins NZME from NZX Listed The Warehouse Group, where she currently serves as General
Manager – Finance, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. She has led strategic financial planning,
commercial and transformation initiatives across one of New Zealand’s largest retailers. Her career also
includes senior finance roles at Microsoft New Zealand and The Economist.
