FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Talisman Gold Mines Ltd (NTL) – Market Update


The Board provides the following update on the Company’s operations and strategic direction:
Our strategy has been to advance gold exploration while producing gold during development
at Mystery to better inform our forward mining plan.
To date, initial grades achieved have been below expectations, with our first shipment netting
US$21,700, resulting in NTL requiring short-term cashflow support.
The Board continues its negotiations with potential investors. NTL has pledges for short term
funding of $550k on terms still to be finalised. This short term funding is contingent upon the
successful negotiation with other long term strategic potential investors but, as the discussions
are confidential and incomplete, NTL is not in a position to share further details at this time.
In the circumstances, NTL has sought a new trading halt to prevent any impact to a fair, orderly
and transparent market for NTL’s shares while negotiations are brought to a conclusion.
The Board remains committed to delivering value for shareholders and will provide further
updates as developments occur.
