APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Appointment of Murray Jordan
Property for Industry Limited (PFI, the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Murray Jordan to the
PFI Board, with effect from 1 April 2026.
Murray currently serves on the Boards of Metlifecare, Stevenson Group and Southern Cross Healthcare (until 31
March 2026). Prior to establishing his governance career, Murray was Managing Director of Foodstuffs North Island,
GM of Property Strategy for Foodstuffs and General Manager of AMP’s unlisted New Zealand property portfolio.
Murray holds a Masters degree in Property Administration from the University of Auckland.
Murray’s appointment is part of the PFI Board’s succession plan, which seeks to balance technical and specialist
governance skills, while at the same time maintaining a Board with strong, practical, commercial capability and
diversity of experience.
PFI Chair, Dean Bracewell, said: “We are delighted to welcome Murray to the PFI Board. Murray’s strong experience
in the property sector and deep governance experience will be invaluable as we continue to execute PFI’s growth
strategy.”
In accordance with NZX Listing Rule 2.6.1, the PFI Board has determined that Murray is an Independent Director.
PFI’s constitution and the NZX Listing Rules require that any person appointed as a Director by the Board must retire
at the next Annual Meeting but shall be eligible for election at that meeting. Accordingly, Murray will retire and seek
election by shareholders at PFI’s Annual Meeting in October 2026.
Board and Committee Update
Murray will sit on the Board’s Audit and Risk Committee. With effect from 1 April 2026, PFI’s Board and Board
Committees will be comprised as follows:
Board: Dean Bracewell (Chair), Angela Bull, Carolyn Steele, David Thomson, Jeremy Simpson and Murray Jordan.
Audit and Risk Committee: Carolyn Steele (Chair), Jeremy Simpson and Murray Jordan.
People Committee: David Thomson (Chair), Angela Bull and Dean Bracewell.
