Metro announces share consolidation
Metro announces a share consolidation of 1 share per 40 shares currently on issue.
The Board of Metro advises that it has resolved to implement a share consolidation to rationalise the number
of ordinary shares on issue.
Every 40 Metro shares held at 5:00pm on 5

March 2026 will be consolidated into 1 share, with all fractional
entitlements rounded up to the nearest whole number of shares.
As a result of the consolidation, the number of shares on issue in Metro will be reduced from 983,638,824 to
approximately 24,590,971 shares. The intended timetable for the consolidation is as follows:
