TruScreen Group Limited (NZX/ASX: TRU) (TruScreen or the Company), a global leader in AI-enabled

cervical cancer screening, is pleased to announce the appointment of Albatros Health Care LLC as its

distributor in Uzbekistan and the commencement of a pilot clinical study in Tashkent to support market

entry.

Uzbekistan distributor appointed

TruScreen appointed Albatros Health Care LLC on 18 May 2026.

Albatros is an Uzbek medical device distributor established in 2017 that provides modern medical

technologies into Uzbekistan. It has a nationwide sales network and works closely with government

stakeholders.

Sales revenue potential is USD740,000 (NZD1.26m) over the 30-month period to the end of 2028. The

first batch of TruScreen screening devices was shipped this week to Uzbekistan to support launch

activities, training and the pilot clinical study in Tashkent.

Pilot clinical study in Tashkent

A pilot clinical study will commence following ethics approval received in May 2026. The study will be

conducted at Obstet Gynecol Clinic in Tashkent and will enrol approximately 600 participants over a

month.

As per the Memorandum of Understanding signed in August 2025, the objectives of the program are:

1. To assess cervical screening options for the women of Uzbekistan and the implementation of

TruScreen in the most effective way to prevent cervical cancer deaths, and to determine the

accuracy, reliability and operational requirements of TruScreen compared to Pap smear in

detecting early cancerous changes in the cervix.

2. To develop a National Cervical Cancer Screening program for Uzbekistan

The clinical study results are expected to provide validation data for TruScreen to support use in both

public and private healthcare settings in Uzbekistan. The country has 11.32 million women of

screening age*, and cervical cancer ranks as the second most frequent cancer among women,

providing significant growth opportunity for reduction in cervical cancer deaths.

The study will be led by Dr Pakhomova as principal investigator, with Dr Klara Yadgorava acting as

advisor overseeing the project. Dr Yadgarova is a World Health Organization national consultant for

Uzbekistan and a consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

GmbH (a German based global NGO) on Uzbekistan projects.

Training and launch support

Senior TruScreen clinical managers will support the pilot project and the launch of TruScreen in

Uzbekistan, in July 2026. The training program is intended to support both clinical users of the TruScreen

device and the Albatros sales team ahead of broader commercial rollout.

Strategic significance

Uzbekistan is a significant market and a regional healthcare centre for neighbouring Central Asian

“Stans” nations where TruScreen’s innovative, real-time technology would be equally well-suited for

public screening adoption.

TruScreen’s market expansion is accelerating through increasing recognition from healthcare

professionals, governments and NGOs as a solution to the challenges of conducting public cervical

cancer screening programs in emerging markets. TruScreen is in advanced discussions with potential

distributors in several additional countries, consistent with its strategy of expanding through capable

local partners in key emerging markets.

Executive Chairman Tony Ho said:

“We are pleased to appoint Albatros Health Care as TruScreen’s distributor in Uzbekistan and to

commence this important pilot clinical study in Tashkent. Uzbekistan represents a compelling market

opportunity, and we believe TruScreen’s real-time, AI-enabled cervical cancer screening technology is

well suited to local screening needs, particularly where scalable public screening solutions are required.

The pilot study will generate valuable local data to support broader adoption in both the public and

private sectors. Together with Albatros’ nationwide network and government relationships, this initiative

provides a strong platform for TruScreen’s growth in Uzbekistan and the wider Central Asian region.”

This announcement has been approved by the Board.
