8 June 2026: ArborGen Holdings Limited (NZX: ARB) (ArborGen or the Company) announces that

Justin Birch has resigned as Chief Executive Officer after three years in the role. The Board has

commenced planning and will undertake a structured process to identify and appoint a new CEO.

Current VP of Product Development at ArborGen, Patrick Cumbie, has been appointed as interim

CEO pending the appointment of a permanent CEO. Patrick joined ArborGen in 2010 and is a

seasoned forestry executive, with more than 23 years’ industry experience.

ArborGen Chair, Dave Knott, said: “Justin played an important role strengthening our Brazil

operations and navigating the challenges of the US market, with a number of milestones now

achieved. The Board thanks him for his contributions and wishes him well for the future.

“Patrick has strong operational knowledge and a deep understanding of our business. The Board has

full confidence in his ability to lead the business as we continue to execute on our strategy, deliver

value for our customers and position the business for long-term success.”
