Tranche of UFB securities transferred to new owner

Further to today’s earlier announcement on the sale process for Chorus’ UFB funding securities held
by National Infrastructure Funding and Financing Limited (NIFF), Chorus confirms that:

• 117,563,935 Chorus UFB1 Equity Securities that have a face value of $117,563,935, and
• 95,628,505 Chorus UFB2 Equity Securities that have a face value of $95,628,505

have been transferred from NIFF to Accident Compensation Corporation.
