Vista Group congratulates James Miller on FMA Chair appointment
Vista Group International Limited (NZX & ASX:VGL) congratulates its independent director, James Miller
ONZM, on his appointment as chair of the Financial Markets Authority (FMA), announced last week by
the Minister of Finance, Hon. Nicola Willis.
In order to ensure that he has sufficient capacity to meet the responsibilities of this new role, James has
informed Vista Group’s Board that he intends to stand down as a director once a suitable non-executive
director candidate has joined the Board.
Vista Group Chair, Susan Peterson, said: “James is one of New Zealand's most respected independent
directors, and since his appointment in 2021, Vista Group has benefited from his experience and expertise,
including in his role as Chair of Vista Group’s Audit and Risk Committee. We are very grateful for the
significant contribution James has made over his tenure.
“Over many years, James has made an exceptional contribution to the development of New Zealand's
capital markets both in a professional and governance capacity. He is uniquely qualified for this important
role, and we couldn’t be more confident in the growth and development of New Zealand’s financial

the role of Chair of the FMA.
