Rocklabs Exceeds Throughput Target by More Than 30%
Performance milestone strengthens commercial case for high-throughput laboratory automaƟon

Auckland, NZ – [25 August 2026] – ScoƩ Technology (NZX: SCT) today announced a significant performance

milestone for its Rocklabs Automated Modular SoluƟon (AMS) crusher cell, with the system achieving 25 samples

per hour during Site Acceptance TesƟng, more than 30% above its original throughput requirement of 19 samples

per hour. The result was achieved as part of a major contract for one of the world’s largest tesƟng, inspecƟon

and cerƟficaƟon providers, validaƟng the AMS and posiƟoning ScoƩ to expand Rocklabs automaƟon into the

global commercial laboratory market.

“Throughput is fundamental to the economics of a commercial laboratory, and we are materially improving it.

Delivering more than 30% above the original throughput requirement demonstrates the step-change in

producƟvity our technology can unlock,” said Mike Christman, CEO of ScoƩ Te c h n o l o g y. “More efficient sample

preparaƟon means laboratories can test and return results faster, ulƟmately supporƟng beƩer-informed

decisions across the mining value chain, from exploraƟon through to extracƟon.”

The Rocklabs AMS is a modular automated sample-preparaƟon system designed to transform mine and

commercial laboratory workflows, materially improving sample throughput, consistency and laboratory safety.

Following soŌware, roboƟc and system improvements, the AMS achieved a throughput rate of 25 samples per

hour during Site Acceptance TesƟng. If maintained conƟnuously, this rate would equate to up to 600 samples

over a 24-hour operaƟng period. This deployment will support upstream sample preparaƟon workflows

associated with advanced minerals tesƟng technologies, including PhotonAssay, where consistent sample

handling is criƟcal to analyƟcal outcomes.

The milestone represents ScoƩ's Leading-Edge Technology enabler in ac

Ɵon - a core driver of the Company's

DesƟnaƟon 2030 growth strategy, built on deep market understanding and a clear view of where the industry is

heading.

Commercial Expansion

ScoƩ Technology is delivering the AMS under the major contract announced on 16 June 2026, marking ScoƩ’s

first deployment of the modular soluƟon into a large-scale commercial minerals laboratory and an important

step in extending Rocklabs automaƟon into this market. The contract, with one of the world’s largest tesƟng,

inspecƟon and cerƟficaƟon companies, includes a pathway for future expansion, subject to operaƟonal

performance.

The update follows ScoƩ’s FY26 expectaƟons announcement on 12 August 2026, in which the Company forecast

record revenue of NZ$290–296 million and record operaƟng EBITDA of NZ$34–36 million for the year ending 31

August 2026. ScoƩ reiterates its DesƟnaƟon 2030 targets of NZ$530 million in revenue and a 14% EBITDA margin

by FY30.
