Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited – Notice of reliance on
Exemption for Climate-related Disclosures for Foreign Listed Issuers

1 We give notice that Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited (the
Company) is relying on the exemption in clause 6 of the Financial Markets
Conduct (Climate-related Disclosures for Foreign Listed Issuers) Exemption
Notice 2026 in respect of the accounting period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June
2026.
2 We confirm that the Company is an overseas listed issuer on the New Zealand
Stock Exchange (NZX) that does not have a large presence in New Zealand.
3 The effect of relying on the exemption is that for the accounting period ended
30 June 2026 the Company is not required to comply with climate reporting
(including producing climate statements), assurance, and record-keeping
requirements imposed under part 7A of the Financial Market Conduct Act 2013.
4 We are providing this notice under clause 7(1)(e)(ii) of the Financial Markets
Conduct (Climate-related Disclosures for Foreign Listed Issuers) Exemption
Notice 2026 for the purpose of notifying the information to the NZX Equity
Market.
