Appointment of Dieter Engelhardt to Group Metallurgist and Manager,
Strategic Projects


Manuka Resources Limited (ASX: MKR; NZX: MKR) (Company) is pleased to announce that Dieter Engelhardt will
assume the position of Group Metallurgist and Manager, Strategic Projects effective immediately.

To date Dieter has been Manuka’s Operations Manager for the Wonawinta precious metals project and intrinsic in
the Company’s progress to date. Dieter spearheaded the test work and historical review which led to the design of
the de-slime circuit being constructed to improve metallurgical recoveries in the silver ore. He also drove the prestart
activities through to the recent commencement of gold production. In line with his metallurgical training and expertise,
Dieter will now focus his attention on optimising Manuka’s precious metal recoveries, as well as ensuring Manuka
assumes a pro-active approach to the various production and corporate opportunities which are already available or
present themselves in the future to the Company.

Wayne Trenning will now assume the role of Operations Manager for the Company, again effective immediately.
Wayne is well qualified for this position bringing significant management and mining experience with him, with both
technical and senior hands-on roles in Australia and Africa. Prior to this, Wayne was employed as Mining Manager
at Manuka Resources.
