Safeguarding Children Initiative is a charitable organisation which aims to reduce child abuse & neglect in New Zealand by: -Delivering evidence-based seminar and training to empower those working with children & communities to protect children & young people. -Safeguarding Community/ Safe Communities - Safer Children - work with community organisations to increase their culture of child protection, capacity, systems, & workforce development. -Elearning- New Zealand's first & only child protection elearning. Using information Technology to improve access to vital child protection training across the nation. -Our courses are delivered to suit everyone's busy schedules & learning needs: elearning courses, recorded webinar training, live webinar training, face to face seminars or bespoke training on request -Prevention strategies -Advocacy for children and young people at a local & national level.
