This analysis compares the Language Intelligence Score (LIS) of board chairs and CEOs from their AGM speeches at the same company in the same fiscal year. The LIS is a composite score (0-100) measuring sentiment, conviction, transparency, specificity, and forward-looking language.

What divergence may indicate: When the chair and CEO communicate with materially different levels of conviction, transparency, or sentiment, it may suggest differing perspectives on company performance or outlook.
