Arthur is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Pathologists, the Australasian Society for Microbiology and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Dr Morris trained in Dunedin, Invercargill and Auckland before spending three years at Duke University Medical Centre, North Carolina, USA. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Diagnostic Medlab Limited from 2005 until 2013.
