Hayden Simon Mikkelsen

Hayden Mikkelsen is Container Operations Manager at South Port New Zealand Ltd (NZX: SPN), where he has worked since 2012. At South Port, he is responsible for container and warehousing operations, including dairy and cold storage warehousing, the container terminal, depot, crane operations, and mobile plant maintenance. He also manages the Intermodal Freight Centre at the railhead in Invercargill. Before joining South Port, Hayden worked in heavy industries in engineering and operational roles at ECNZ and Ballance Agri-Nutrients. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury and is an alumnus of the Southland Leadership Academy.
