Sir John Key

Sir John Key is the Former Prime Minister of New Zealand (2008-2016) who has been appointed Chair of ANZ Bank New Zealand effective January 2018. He holds a degree from the University of Canterbury and brings extensive international banking experience, having served as Head of Global Foreign Exchange with Merrill Lynch and as a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Foreign Exchange Committee. He was made a Knight Grand Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 2017 and received Australia's Companion of the Order of Australia for advancing the Australia-New Zealand bilateral relationship.
