John Scott Wotherspoon

John Scott will join Gentrack as a non-executive director from 1 January 2026. He has extensive experience in global technology, digital transformation, and business strategy, with a strong executive background in technology, product innovation, and business transition. Most recently, he was CEO of Invenco, a self-service payment technology company that was sold to Vontier in 2022, and currently serves as executive chair of NZX-listed EROAD and chair of AoFrio and Digital Matter. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland and has previously held key executive positions at Navico Holdings and Brunswick.
