Mike Darcey is an Independent Director of Sky Network Television Limited. Mike holds an Honours degree in Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration, and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand (Inc). Mike has over 30 years' experience in the telecommunications industry. He is currently Chairman of 2degrees, New Zealand's third largest telecommunications company. He was previously CEO of Chorus Limited, a role he held from 2011 to 2021, where he led the company through the UFB rollout and digital transformation. Before Chorus, Mike held senior executive positions at Vodafone New Zealand and Telecom New Zealand, including General Manager of Gen-i (Telecom's ICT business unit). Mike is Chair of Sky's Remuneration and Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
