DIRECTOR RETIREMENT – CHRISTOPHER STAYNES

Scott Technology Limited advises that Mr Christopher Staynes will retire by rotation as a Director of
Scott Technology Limited at the forthcoming 2017 Annual Meeting to be held in Dunedin on 30
November 2017 and he has advised that he will not be offering himself for re-election.

The Board sincerely thanks Chris for the contribution that he has made over the last ten years which
has coincided with a period of great change and transformation for the Company.
