Organisational change – Dennis Boyle steps down
Lead team member Dennis Boyle is stepping down from his position as General Manager Supply
Chain, effective 31 December 2017.
Dennis, who has been with Steel & Tube for seven years, has decided to further his experiences,
and is moving into supply chain consultancy.
During his time with the company, Dennis has strengthened purchasing leverage for S&T and had
significant involvement in the growth of the company through acquisitions.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Dennis for his commitment and support to S&T and wish him
the very best for the future.
Last week I talked about the transformation programme we are embarking on and I mentioned a
couple of the more complex areas, including Supply Chain, where we need to run a programmed
approach to change.
We have set a pre-Christmas target for completing the “diagnosis” phase of this programme, with
the aim of finalising the changes by the end of March. As we work through the process, I’ve asked
Procurement Manager Miki Cooke to lead Supply Chain on an acting basis, effective Monday 20
November.
In the coming weeks, we will gain momentum and I’ll have some more information to share around
some of our change initiatives.
