Fonterra Appoints Director to FSF Management Company Board

FONTERRA APPOINTS DIRECTOR TO FSF MANAGEMENT COMPANY BOARD

Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited has today announced that it has appointed one of its directors,
Donna Smit, to the Board of FSF Management Company Limited, the manager of the Fonterra
Shareholders’ Fund with effect from the close of the Fonterra Shareholders’ Fund Annual Meeting
on 12 November 2018.
Mrs Smit replaces Professor Nicola Shadbolt, who will be retiring from the FSF Management
Company Limited Board on 12 November 2018, following the announcement of her retirement as a
director of Fonterra.
Donna Smit was elected to the Fonterra board in December 2016. Donna lives and farms at
Edgecumbe, and has built and owns seven dairy farms in Eastern Bay of Plenty and Oamaru.
Donna is a Director of Kiwifruit Equities Limited and a Trustee of the Dairy Women’s Network.
Donna is a Chartered Accountant and was a company administrator at kiwifruit Co-operative
EastPack for 24 years. Donna’s strong focus on financial and risk management has been built
through her extensive business experience and financial background, and complements her deep
dairy farming experience.
