Heartland Group Holdings notes RBNZ Capital Review Consultation Paper

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) has released a consultation paper titled “Capital Review
Paper 4: How much capital is enough?” The purpose of this paper is to seek public views on a
proposal to increase the minimum level of regulatory capital in the banking system.
Heartland is currently reviewing the consultation paper and will participate in the consultation
process with RBNZ. Responses are due by 29 March 2019.
