PaySauce Announces New Platform, Expands Services 
into Digital Contracts

SaaS payroll provider PaySauce (NZSX:PYS) announces the launch of a new platform 
enabling the delivery of services beyond simply payroll.  
 
PaySauce came to market as a conventional payroll software application and has built 
up a range of satellite features such as timesheets and costing. The release of the 
Contract Builder signifies expansion of services into broader HR functionality and an 
additional revenue driver. ​PaySauce CEO and co-founder, Asantha Wijeyeratne, says 
the decision was driven by the desire​ to offer constant improvement and an expanded 
feature set, without cluttering up the user experience. ​“PaySauce is​ all about how 
software can change the way we work. The platform gives us the freedom to pursue 
that possibility.”  
 
A digital employment agreement tool, developed in partnership with Federated 
Farmers, will be the first app launched on the new platform​. Graham Hill, General 
Manager (Commercial) at Federated Farmers, sees the Contract Builder as a way to 
deliver smarter compliance solutions to agricultural employers. “This industry-first 
development for digital contracts allows for simpler updates to all our farmers’ 
contracts, and ensures that they are always compliant. We see this partnership with 
PaySauce as an integral part of our online development strategy here at Federated 
Farmers.” 
 
Applications on the platform will be integrated horizontally, with employee details 
from the Federated Farmers Contract Builder automatically imported into payroll for 
PaySauce Payroll users. The platform is designed to enable outside development and 
host external applications, introducing new integrations in the process.
