ANZ completes sale of ANZ Royal stake

ANZ today announced it has completed the sale of its 55% stake in Cambodian joint-venture
ANZ Royal Bank to J Trust.

The previously announced sale is in line with ANZ’s strategy to simplify its business and
operate wholly-owned Institutional businesses in the region.

J Trust is a Japanese diversified financial holding company listed on the Tokyo Stock
Exchange with operations in five countries including banking operations in South Korea and
Indonesia.

ANZ’s Institutional Bank has a presence in 14 different markets in Asia and was ranked No.
1 for overall quality in relationships in Asia by Greenwich Associates in 2019.
