NZX Regulation (“NZXR”) advises that at the request of the issuer, it has placed a trading halt
on Westpac Banking Corporation ordinary shares (“WBC”). The trading halt was put in place
pre-market open this morning.
The halt has been placed pending the release of an announcement by the company.
WBC ordinary shares will remain in halt until the earlier of:

An announcement made by the issuer; or
•
The open of trading on Tuesday, 5 November 2019
