Briscoes Homeware Online – Essential Goods

Briscoe Group advises it has reopened its online site (www.briscoes.co.nz) to supply
homeware essentials via closed store fulfilment centres. This follows the government
announcing yesterday that the sale of certain categories of essential goods would be
allowed.

Rod Duke, Group Managing Director, welcomed the government’s decision to allow
essential goods to be made available to the public via online platforms. “People need
to get prepared for the colder weather as we move into the autumn months and head
towards winter.

“Having lodged our registration with MBIE this afternoon we are now open for
business via our website, which has been updated to include only homeware
essentials.

“The products we will have available will include blankets (including electric
blankets), heaters, dehumidifiers, kitchenware, cooking appliances and winter
bedding products.

“To make this offering more accessible to the public we have also created the ability
to take orders over the phone through our contact centre (0800274726).”

Rod Duke further noted that, “Our retail stores will remain closed during this period
until the end of the Level 4 lockdown.”
