Contact Energy announces departure of Chief
Customer Officer
Contact Energy (“Contact”) announces that Vena Crawley, Chief Customer Officer, has
decided to leave the company on 1 April 2021.
Mike Fuge, CEO of Contact said: “Vena has been a highly valued member of the Leadership
Team, and in his time at Contact has delivered on the retail business transformation and the
development of our ICT strategy and created our digital and data road map. It has been an
absolute pleasure to work with Vena since joining Contact in February 2020. On behalf of the
Board, Leadership team and our employees I would like to thank him and wish him well for
the future.”
Mr Crawley, who joined Contact in October 2014, said “It has been a privilege to lead and
serve our customers alongside both the Leadership Team and the Customer team. The
strength and capability of the Customer team gives me great comfort that this is the right time
to hand over. I am excited and confident that Mike and the Leadership Team will solidify
Contact’s leading position as the human energy company focused on decarbonising
households and New Zealand.”
