Further update on Sky’s property portfolio
As a result of a marketing campaign to sell Studios Two and Three on its Mt Wellington site and
subsequent targeted engagement with potential buyers, Sky New Zealand has identified that greater
value is likely to be delivered by selling all three of the buildings on the site as a package, with studio
leaseback options included.
Chief Executive Sophie Moloney said: “Our purpose in selling some of our property portfolio is to
enable us to deliver a work environment that better meets the changing needs of Sky’s workforce,
and to release capital to reinvest in activities that create greater value for our customers and
shareholders.”
Colliers New Zealand will now complete a targeted Expression of Interest Campaign with potential
purchasers which will close at 4pm on Monday 23 August 2021.
