Heartland Annual Meeting: change to in-person location

Heartland Group Holdings Limited (Heartland) (NZX/ASX: HGH) advises that, subject to New
Zealand’s COVID-19 Alert Level status, the in-person location of its Annual Meeting will now take
place in the Loyalty Lounge, Eden Park, Reimers Avenue, Kingsland, Auckland. The meeting will
continue to be held online at the same time.

The time and date of the meeting has not changed – the meeting will commence at 2pm (NZST) on
Thursday 28 October 2021.

The change results from a delay in the opening of Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre in
Christchurch due to the recent COVID-19 Alert Level 4 lockdown.

Depending on New Zealand’s COVID-19 Alert Level status, Heartland may, in its sole discretion, elect
to hold the annual meeting as an online only meeting if it considers there are potential risks to the
health of attendees or if an in-person meeting is prohibited by law. In such circumstances, Heartland
will provide shareholders with as much notice as is reasonably practicable by way of an
announcement to the NZX and ASX and on its website at shareholders.heartland.co.nz/shareholder-
resources/annual-meetings.

Other details relating to the meeting will be advised in the Notice of Meeting to be sent to all
shareholders in due course.
