Infratil announces retirement of Catherine Savage
Infratil announces that Catherine Savage will retire as a Director with effect from 31 January 2022.
Infratil Chair Mark Tume thanked Catherine for her contribution to the Board since her appointment in
2019, and noted that the Board will commence a search process for a new director early in 2022.
“Catherine has made a substantial contribution to Infratil’s Board over an extremely busy period,
including navigating the Covid-19 pandemic, the transition to new CEO Jason Boyes, considering the
AustralianSuper takeover proposal, and a period of significant investment activity.
“She brought a fresh perspective to many of our discussions, with her deep understanding of the
investment sector, and we appreciated her knowledge, insights and experience. We wish her the best
in her next endeavours.”
Catherine said it has been a rewarding role but she steps down with the company in excellent shape
with a refreshed management team and investment and portfolio strategy.
“Over the past few years, Infratil’s management and the Board have repositioned its focus into
renewable energy, digital and data, and most recently developing a healthcare portfolio, while
continuing to deliver excellent returns to shareholders with record profits.”
