Ventia awarded property services contract extension by Commonwealth Government

Ventia has been awarded a two-year contract extension by the Commonwealth Government (Department of

Finance) to deliver leasing and facilities management services to 39 Government entities across over 650

properties.

The initial Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) contract commenced 11 September 2017. The contract

extension runs from 1 July 2022 through to 30 June 2024 and is expected to generate approximately $270

million in revenue for Ventia.

The WoAG contract delivers property services to the Commonwealth of Australia, including implementation

services to the Department of Finance, transition-in services, and other management services.

As one of the largest essential services providers in Australia and New Zealand, Ventia provides a range of

services to federal, state and local governments and is pleased to extend its contract with the Commonwealth

of Australia in the delivery of the WoAG contract.

Ventia Group Chief Executive Officer Dean Banks said that Ventia was pleased to extend its relationship with

the Commonwealth Government in this important package of works.

“This contract renewal is testament to the strong relationship we have built with the Commonwealth and our

relentless pursuit of service excellence. We place high importance on having repeat customers and we will seek

to improve every day to deliver successful outcomes.” Mr Banks said.

Group Executive Defence and Social Infrastructure Derek Osborn said the entities to which Ventia deliver

services have varying portfolio complexity and a mixture of property usage types.

“There are a number of properties that have specific heritage and environmental management requirements,”

Mr Osborn said.

“My team and I look forward to continuing to ensure a safe, compliant and professional built environment for

our client, so they can focus on their core business.”
