NZ RegCo advises that, at the request of Westpac Banking Corporation (“WBC”), it has placed
a trading halt on WBC Ordinary Shares. The trading halt was placed at pre market open today,
Monday 9 May 2022.
The trading halt has been put in place pending the release of WBC’s 2022 Interim Financial
Results.
The trading halt will remain in place until the release of the WBC 2022 Interim Financial Results
or market open on Tuesday, 10 May 2022.
